Red Legacy teaches life skills that include money management, household budgeting, dressing for success, appropriate/acceptable social and workplace interaction.
We also work on nutrition, food preparation, resume writing, self-esteem, self-confidence, social skills, and any other skills that makes women more self-sufficient and independent.
We provide transportation to work, school, court, probation appointments, AA/NA meetings, group meetings, GED tutoring classes, parenting classes, food stamp appointments, doctor’s appointments, or any other need that supports our women in becoming more self-sufficient and independent.
We currently offer transportation 4 days per week.
We have a case manager on staff to assist participants in connecting with community resources such as housing, GED classes, parenting classes, emergency food, and domestic violence shelters. The case manager assists with completing employment applications, making resumes, filling out applications for community services.
